On April 18th of 1775, British troops marched from Boston to Concord in an attempt to seize control of weapons and ammunition stored there. The events of that night and the day that followed are some of the most famous in American history. The war with Britain began, and the American colonists proved they were more ready for it than anyone anticipated.
