Episode 4 - Coming to Florida
In 1513, Juan Ponce de León came to a new land, one he named Florida. Spanish rule there was a piece of Spain’s dominance in Europe and the New World. With the impending rise of British power, Europe, Florida, and the entire eastern seaboard of America would change forever. Still, Spain’s descendants would keep finding their way to land named by their sixteenth-century ancestor.
